Bonnie Korytkowski, DO
Bonnie Korytkowski was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Bonnie graduated from Elmhurst College with a degree in Chemistry before becoming part of the second graduating class of Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis. For many years she has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and recently became involved with the Cycle for Survival. Her dedication to raising funds for cancer research pointed her towards a career in oncology, but when rotations began it was clear that what Bonnie truly loved was family medicine. The continuity of care and opportunity to treat patients in a truly holistic manner is what she loves most about family medicine and osteopathic medicine. She looks forward to utilizing osteopathic manipulative medicine in treating her patients.
The training offered by the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency and focus on emotional well-being was what first interested her in the program. When Bonnie met the residents and faculty there was a clear connection that instantly appealed to her.
Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband, reading science fiction and fantasy, and spending time outdoors, and has a love for animals.
