David Casillas Plazola, MD
David was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. As a teenager, he moved to the central valley of California with his family where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. After undergrad, he sought out an adventure in the north to pursue his medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He chose the Fox Valley for his residency training as he plans to practice full spectrum family medicine with obstetrics. David fell in love with Wisconsin for the genuine community and family friendly values and is looking forward to staying in the Midwest. He is excited to practice full spectrum medicine while developing a relationship with his patients and the community.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his fiancée and high school sweetheart, watching and playing soccer, spending time outdoors and playing board games. He is a fan of Batman and Star Wars and enjoys watching old movies. David likes to meet new people, learn their stories, and discover similarities and differences. David also enjoys learning about new cultures and trying out new ethnic foods (so if you know of any good restaurants don’t forget to tell him about it).
