Martha Grace Courtright, MD
Martha Grace grew up in Monroe, Louisiana. She attended Wheaton College in Illinois where she majored in Theology. There, she met her husband and they were married shortly after graduation. They moved to Wisconsin for her husband’s job and instantly fell in love with the state! Her southern family may not understand it, but she enjoys all the seasons Wisconsin has to offer—winter included! She was a member of the inaugural class of the Green Bay campus of Medical College of Wisconsin. In medical school, she was the co-president of the local Christian Medical Association and the president of the Green Bay Medical Student Association. She volunteered at a local food pantry as well as local health education outreach programs the school organized.
In her free time, Martha Grace enjoys playing board/card games and hiking with her husband and their two dogs. She also has a family of sugar gliders (Australian version of the flying squirrel) and hopes to have a menagerie of other animals someday. She loves to host people in her home and to cook scrumptious food for her guests.
Martha Grace chose to train at Fox Valley for its strong obstetrical focus and tight knit feel of the resident cohort. She rotated here during medical school and knew it was a place she could see herself training. She has a special interest in obstetrics and wants to practice full spectrum medicine in a smaller town following residency.
