Nicholas Deeter, DO
Nicholas (Nick) grew up in the shadows of the Book Cliffs in the small town of Helper, UT. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Exercise Physiology. During that time he was involved with the SOARE program, which works with disadvantaged children in local schools to help provide a path toward a college education. He also conducted research on diabetes and vascular health. Following graduation, Nick worked as a dialysis technician for the University of Utah Dialysis Program. He attended the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he met his wonderful wife, Teresa, and their loveable Labrador-mix, Zobel.
Nick was initially attracted to the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency by its rural focus and full-scope curriculum. Following his visit to the area, he fell in love with the friendly people, the charm of Appleton, and the ample outdoor activities available in the area.
As a young child, Nick loved watching the Green Bay Packers on TV, and hoped to play for them someday. Though his aspirations to play professional football are no more, he is very excited to be moving to Wisconsin. In his spare time he enjoys fishing (especially fly fishing), hiking, mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with Teresa and Zobel.
