Rory Fry, MD
Rory grew up in the rural southwest Wisconsin community of Richland Center. After graduating high school, he attended Olivet Nazarene University where he studied biology and competed on the varsity football and track and field teams. After graduation he discovered his passion for people and medicine while working for an orthopedic medical group.
After working for five years, Rory moved to the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten where he began medical school. During his time on the island he married the love of his life and they spent the first year of their marriage in the beautiful Caribbean. After returning to the United States, Rory completed all of his clinical rotations in Miami, Florida where he and his wife welcomed their two daughters.
Rory spends as much of his free time as possible with his family. They enjoy any outdoor activity, especially visiting local parks and swimming pools and they are very involved in the local church. While he can’t play football like he once did, Rory still loves staying active by playing basketball, weightlifting, and biking. He loves following football and basketball teams, and of course his favorites are the Packers, Bucks, and Badgers. Rory chose Fox Valley because of the strong interactions with both residents and faculty during his interview and the program’s emphasis on continuity of care and broad-spectrum family medicine. He is excited to raise his young children in the Fox Valley and hopes to remain in the area even beyond residency.
