Shaun Raganyi, DO
Shaun grew up in Antigo, WI, a small town in Northern Wisconsin. He attended UW-Green Bay as an undergraduate where he majored in Biology and Human Biology and met his lovely wife Emily. After that, he attended Midwestern University and obtained a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences. During the year that he had off between graduate and medical school, he worked as an Adjunct Instructor at both Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Globe University in which he fell in love with teaching. He elected to even further his education by completing a Graduate Teaching Assistant Fellowship in the Clinical Sciences Department in which his medical education was extended by one year, but he was given a Junior Faculty appointment at WVSOM in exchange. He also volunteered for various events in and around Lewisburg, WV while also enjoying the beautiful West Virginia landscape.
In his free time, Shaun enjoys cheering on the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, and the Wisconsin Badgers. Emily and Shaun both have a bit of a rivalry since she is also a Green Bay Packers fan. Shaun also enjoys golf, running, fishing, walking, hiking, and just being outdoors. Shaun chose Fox Valley for its well-rounded training, supportive family atmosphere, and the closeness to family. He has an interest in rural medicine, hospital medicine, and continuing to teach others throughout his life. Shaun is very excited to remain in Wisconsin following his training and provide care in a rural region of Wisconsin.
