Teresa Meyer, DO
Teresa grew up in rural, southern Minnesota in the small town of Arlington. She completed her undergraduate degree at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. During her time there, she became active in the local community and spent time working with underprivileged children at after school programs. From there, she moved to Kirksville, Missouri where she studied biomedical science and graduated with a Masters degree. Her thesis focused on the role of antidepressants in the brain development of children and adolescents. She continued her community involvement and started a school supplies drive for a local elementary school in rural Missouri. She went on to attend A. T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school she met her wonderful husband Nick Deeter.
Teresa was attracted to the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency due to its focus on full-scope family medicine. She also found the residents and faculty to be friendly and welcoming. She enjoyed the local charm and amenities that Appleton and the surrounding area had to offer.
In her free time, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Zobel. She also loves spoiling her niece Athena. She enjoys hiking, biking, and crocheting.
